‘Art of Kent’ Charity Auction 2024.

Following the success of the last ‘Art of Kent Auction’ which raised over £21,500 for Heart of Kent Hospice, the Hospice has announced that the next online ‘Art of Kent Auction’ will take place between 12 to 14 March 2024.
The Hospice is urgently looking for more artists to get involved in this year’s auction, so whether you are a professional artist or someone that enjoys art in their spare time, the fundraising team would like to hear from you if you have a piece of artwork to donate for the online auction. The deadline for submission is 16 February 2024.
My mum was cared for by the wonderful Heart of Kent Hospice team in late Summer 2021 and it is an absolute honour to be taking part in the ‘Art of Kent Auction’ for the first time this year.
Whilst I originally worked in paint, film, and photography during my time studying Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University, in very recent years I have explored a new love of illustration, in both classical and digital mediums.
It has been a brilliant way to reflect and unwind in my spare time, with it sparking even wider curiosities, including a return to my studies to enjoy a course in ‘Illustrating for children's books’.
